On 9-10 May 2012, the Department of Education, State Higher Vocational School in Chelm organized a scientific conference, which was attended by representatives of scientific circles of Belarus, Czech, Polish, Slovak Republic, Ukraine.
It was an excellent forum for exchanging experiences about the latest strategies and challenges occurring in the modern school, which on the one hand should meet the current trends and needs of the environment, and on the other - to cherish and enjoy the timeless, universal and traditional values of the school.
The conference concerned the following issues: past - present - future school (institution), tradition and modernity education, old and new problems of school education, nursing school - past and present.
